Our Diary
Our church has 2 timetables, one for the summer and one for the winter:
Summer (May to August) Sunday :- Morning Service and Sunday School – 10.30 a.m. Evening Service – 6.30 p.m. Monday :- Boys Brigade – 6.30 – 8.00 p.m. 5 - 11 years old (from May to July) Thursday :- Recorder and Ocarina Group - 6.00 – 7.15 p.m. (from May to July)
Winter (September to April) Sunday :- Morning Service and Sunday School – 10.30 a.m. Evening Service – 6.30 p.m. Monday :- Boys Brigade – 6.30 – 8.00 p.m. 5 - 11 years old Thursday :- Recorder and Ocarina Group - 6.00 – 7.15 p.m. Boys Brigade Company Section – 7 p.m. 11 years and older
Services at our Church from July to September 2009
We start off in the church with the rest of the congregation then go out into Sunday School after the second hymn has been sung. We start off together for a Bible story then split into groups for activities. The groups are usually age split to enable everyone to complete an activity (usually to take home) with adult help split between the groups as necessary. We cover many Bible stories and themes over the year and use different forms of story telling as appropriate. Sometimes the story is acted out or told using pictures. Other times it may be watched on a video or fitted together from lots of parts. All children are welcome into Sunday School after the age of three. Other parts of the Sunday School are the Recorder Group and Ocarina Group
